Phicen Limited Sheena, Queen of the Jungle Boxed Action Doll
[PL-2014-50]
Product Background:
- As beautiful as she is dangerous, Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, fiercely defends the rain forest and its denizens from all those who would do them harm.
Originally conceived to be a counterpart to Burroughs' Tarzan, Sheena leapt off the pages of Fiction House comics in 1937 to become the very first female character to have her own title, four years before Wonder Woman. Since then, Sheena has been featured in comics, graphic novels, TV shows, and her own feature film. Although there have been many imitators, there will only ever be one jungle queen.
Go Hero, Executive Replicas, and Phicen Ltd are proud to present this first-ever figure of the original Queen of the Jungle, Sheena!

Sheena so nice
This figure comes with a really cool clothing set, the only drawback to the outfit is no boots, the figure would look really good with footwear like on the TV show.

Gorgeous figure!
Sheena is a welcome addition to my Phicen family. The sculpt is actually prettier IRL than in the promo photos, and her hair is better quality than we have seen recently from Phicen, so that is a welcome change. She has a suntan mid-bust body, similar to the S03. Her genital region is not as defined as her full bust sisters, but her body overall is very attractively blushed. She comes with a reasonable array of accesories, including several knife and spear holding hands. Her spear hands don't grip her spear independantly though. Her upper armbands would require an act of God to get on - impossible for this mere mortal. The anklets and bracelets went on easily and look very attractive. Her outfit suits her well. The edges of the fabric are not finished in any way, so this makes them feel a bit delicate. I won't be playing with this outfit much, although it does look great on her. Her feet are pretty, but as the previous reviewer noted, essentially useless. She can't stand alone on them and they look strange when folded flat as if she were standing, since the toes point upward. She pretty much has to wear heels. Overall though, she is a gorgeous figure who I am thrilled to have in my collection.

Nice Addition to the Odd Ball Collections
Although I have not seen or particularly care about the actress on the show, the figure itself has an interesting, uncommon theme. It is a bit on the lighter side on accessories, but my main interest on this figure was the head sculpt. I have not seen the show so can't really comment on the likeness of the head to the actress, but it is beautifully made. I have not taken off the clothes to find out what Phicen body it is using but I am fairly certain that it is the newer 2015 large bust suntan body without the private part articulations. However, I would have preferred 10D type ball jointed feet for a jungle lady on barefoot. It's simply ridiculous to have a pair of squishy high-heeled feet for this type of figure.
Good:
Excellent head sculpt
Nice fur fabric feel with good details on the outfit
Good quality accessories for the most part
Phicen body is still the best in its category
Bad:
Wrong choice for feet
Would have been nice to have a steel spear tips instead of soft plastic parts
You will have a tough time pulling up the arm bands
